BrightRock Insurance Company
Insurance Companies, Mmmmm… one of the types of companies that I never thought that I’d ever have to write a piece about.
Well…that was just a thought up until I saw the BrightRock insurance Company advertisement. “Ohh my freak” the advertisement sent “adverchills” which is a term that I came up with to express how an advertisements creativity sends Chills down my spine hahaha…
In the advertisement there is this old man who looks like he could be in his 60’s or 70’s, he has gray hair. He is acting like a teenager, sleeps on those single beds that look childish, wears school uniform, talks about how school is and rides his bicycle around town. Basically he is acting the way a “typical” high school boy would behave.
As a viewer this made me think “what the…?” Cause that’s not a sight that a person sees everyday.
After all of that at the ends they say “You don’t stay the same all your life neither should your life insurance” or something around those lines. After they say that the whole advertisement starts to make sense. They let you try and make sense of the advertisement and make you become a little curious and then they pull all the different aspects of the whole advertisement and give you the WHOLE picture.
What they are basically saying is that the insurance that you used to have before isn’t the one that you might need now. Reason being that at different life stages you do different things, have different risks and have a different mind frame. Why have insurance that is standardized to be the same through out your whole life , when you could have insurance that is customized to suite the stage of life that you are in.
For me personally, I believe that, the advertisement is a very creative and simply informative advertisement
Good Advertisements should give you “Adverchills”. That’s my word and I’m sticking to it
